The Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage Social Service Society (RCBHSSS) is a registered humanitarian non-profit organization operating as the dedicated community service and welfare arm of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage (Rotary International District 3262). Built on the foundational Rotary motto of "Service Above Self," the Society is committed to transforming lives and fostering sustainable community development across Bhubaneswar and surrounding regions in Odisha. By bringing together professionals, community leaders, and local volunteers, RCBHSSS bridges the gap between civic need and direct action — delivering targeted aid where it is needed most.
Registered on 6th November 2015 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860). Bye-laws amended 7th May 2016.

From the President & Secretary
Dr. Bishnu Mohan Mohanty
President, RCBH-SSSI hereby present the Activity Report of RCBH Social Service Society. This year RCBH-SSS engaged in a plantation programme, distribution of mango saplings, inauguration of a biogas plant, celebration of International Youth Day, an eye and dental check-up camp, blood donation drives, distribution of blankets, and the celebration of Annapurna Day by providing cooked food to teachers and visually impaired students in Bhubaneswar. Our flagship programme of the year was the Odisha Eye Conclave, attended by 300 delegates from across India. All support and financial contribution came from our members and the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage.

Sixteen Years of Service Above Self
Chartered 25 August 2009 · RI District 3262 · Club ID 82681 — the milestones, membership growth, and governing boards behind the Club.
Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage was chartered on 25 August 2009 and has grown into a multidisciplinary community-service organisation guided by Rotary's ideal of “Service Above Self.” From its early years, the Club combined fellowship and cultural engagement with practical community initiatives spanning children and education, women’s empowerment, environmental awareness, health, blood donation and community welfare.
During the COVID-19 period, the Club adapted through virtual meetings while maintaining service and community commitments, including disaster-management and health-related initiatives. Today, it continues to connect professionals and community leaders through sustained service in healthcare, education, environment, youth development and social welfare.
Verified Timeline
Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage chartered on 25 August.
First documented “Save Blood” blood-donation camp at IHM, Bhubaneswar.
Service expanded through plantation drives, tribal-child support and education initiatives.
Annual report records 59 paid members and 5 honorary members.
61 members at the start of the year; 13 additions and 3 losses, ending with 71.
17th Charter Day celebrated; environmental and community-service projects continued.
Sixth Odisha Eye Conclave brought together 20+ eye-care organisations and 300+ participants.
