What's been completed
- PAN Card issued to the Society (PAN: AAKAR5886Q), with formation date 6 November 2015.
- 12A tax-exemption granted — provisional registration approved 9 April 2024, valid AY 2025-26 to AY 2027-28.
- 80G tax-exemption granted — provisional approval approved 9 April 2024, valid AY 2025-26 to AY 2027-28.
- CSR registration completed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs — Registration No. CSR00077185, approved 14 August 2024.
- Activity Reports prepared and approved for 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.
- Audit Reports (balance sheet, receipts & payments, income & expenditure) completed for the last four years by Tripathy & Co., Chartered Accountants.
- Bank account — frozen for 10 years pending KYC — reactivated after submitting all resolutions, bye-laws, registration certificate and office bearer documents; Darpan ID registered with NITI Aayog.
- Odisha Eye Conclave 2024 raised ₹6.21 lakh from 25+ hospitals, companies and Rotarians, run entirely through the Society's own bank account.
- 10th Annual General Body Meeting held 10 June 2025, ratifying 77 members and electing a new Governing Body.

What we're working through next
Named plainly, as the board recorded them — not polished into vague ambitions.
- Put the bye-law amendments and new Society symbol approved at the 10th AGM into formal effect.
- Clear pending Eye Conclave-related payments (~₹47,000): auditor fees, CSR certificate charges, and report printing/design.
- Complete the current year's audit and income-tax return.
- Identify one flagship service project (₹4-5 crore scale) to pursue for institutional grant-in-aid.
- Follow up on Past President Dr. Minaketan's pledge of land for an Old Age Home.
- Submit yearly documentation to the Inspector General of Registration (IGR); registration itself needs renewal every 5 years.
- Develop a year-long calendar of activities and mobilise funds accordingly.
