Join Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage
Rotary connects 1.2 million+ business and community leaders across the world who share one habit: turning good intentions into hands-on service. Here's what membership looks like, who it's for, and how to start.
Benefits & Eligibility
Rotary membership is part fellowship, part professional network, part hands-on service — most members say it ends up being the most rewarding of the three.
Hands-On Community Service
Take part directly in local projects — health camps, education support, environmental drives and disaster response — rather than just funding them from a distance.
Professional Network
Meet and work alongside business owners, professionals and civic leaders across Bhubaneswar, plus a global network of over a million Rotarians.
Leadership Development
Take on committee and board roles within the Club, building organisational and leadership experience alongside your regular career.
Global Fellowship
Rotary Fellowships connect members who share hobbies or interests, and the annual Rotary International Convention brings members from 130+ countries together each year.
Family of Rotary
Rotaract (young professionals, 18+) and Interact (ages 12–18) give the next generation a way in — many go on to become full Rotary members later.
Recognition & Growth
Mentorship from experienced Rotarians, recognition for service milestones, and a track record of community impact you can point to.
Eligibility
Rotary's founding principle is that a club's membership should reflect the business and professional community it serves. In practice, that means:
Generally eligible
- Adults of good character, committed to community service
- Proprietors, partners, corporate officers or managers of a recognised business or profession
- Those holding an important position with executive or discretionary authority in a worthy organisation
- Retired professionals who previously held any of the above
- Willing to attend meetings regularly and contribute to Club activities and dues
Not quite ready for full membership?
- Ages 18+, early-career or student: consider Rotaract, focused on leadership skills and service alongside your studies or early career
- Ages 12–18: consider Interact, Rotary's service club for younger students
- Want to help without joining formally? See Get Involved for ways to volunteer or contribute to a specific need
How to Join
Applying doesn't guarantee membership — every application is reviewed by the Governing Board — but here's the path.
Learn about the Club
Browse Who We Are and Our Work to see what RCBH-SSS actually does day to day, or come along as a guest to an activity.
Get in touch
Reach out through Contact Us and select “Membership” from the subject dropdown — a current member or the Membership Committee will follow up directly.
Meet the Club
You'll typically be invited to attend a meeting or two as a guest, to get a feel for the Club before applying formally.
Application & Board review
Your application is reviewed by the Governing Board. If approved, you'll be notified and invoiced for dues.
Induction
A short induction ceremony formally welcomes you as a member of Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Heritage.
Ready to talk to us?
